The UK's National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) has appointed the three executive directors that will head the reformed organisation, after it takes over the public health prevention roles of the outgoing Health Development Agency next year. Andrew Dillon, the institute's current chief executive, Professor Peter Littlejohns, NICE's clinical and public health director, and Andrea Sutcliffe, its planning and resources director, will head the new National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence when it comes into being on April 1.
