FDA's final rule on health claims based on "authoritative statements" for dietary supplements should specifically state that "any prohibition or modification of a health claim based on a statement from another sanctioned authoritative body will first rely on the prohibition or modification of that statement by that sanctioned body," the Consumer Healthcare Products Association recommends in April 6 comments to FDA.
