Pennsylvania, US-based Onconova Therapeutics has appointed Dr Jerome Groopman and Anne VanLent to its board of directors. Dr Groopman has served as the Dina and Raphael Recanati Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since January 1992. Ms VanLent has been president of AMV Advisors, a consulting firm, since May 2008, and also serves as a director of Biota Pharmaceuticals, Aegerion Pharmaceuticals and Ocera Therapeutics.
