Pelvalon Inc.'s Eclipse System, a non-surgical vaginal insert for fecal incontinence in women, is composed of an inflatable balloon attached to a base. When inflated via a handheld pump connected to the device, the balloon exerts pressure on the vaginal wall, thus compressing the rectum to prevent stool from passing.
