Reliant Pharmaceuticals (cardiovascular and gastrointestinal therapeutics) has withdrawn its second filing for an IPO because it is being acquired by GlaxoSmithKline. The company originally planned to go public in May 2005, but withdrew the $300mm offering six months later citing market conditions.
