Executive Summary
GlaxoSmithKline PLC, AstraZeneca PLC, and the University of Manchester have agreed to form the Manchester Collaborative Centre for Inflammation Research (MCCIR), which will focus on rapidly translating basic research into medicines for chronic inflammatory diseases, including asthma, COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, and IBD.
