Roche Professional Diagnostics (RPD; part of Roche) is paying €11mm ($15mm) up front in cash for privately held Verum Diagnostica GMBH (laboratory coagulation analysis), which is owned by German medtech company Dynabyte Informationssysteme GMBH. Verum could also receive €2mm in earn-outs based on its performance. (Dec.)
