Sandra Horning has played a central role in drug development for more than 30 years, from conducting lymphoma research at Stanford University to overseeing the approval of 15 medicines at Genentech, Inc. She is now tackling some of industry’s most high profile issues, serving as a board member of Moderna, Inc. and advising a start-up seeking to launch new, affordable drugs.
